Marc Bertrand
Founder and CEO
Marc has evolved from the early stages of his career as a Revenue Management professional working closely with global organizations such as Starwood, Marriott and Fairmont as well as a number of non-branded hotels located throughout Canada. Hotel sizes have ranged from 100 to 825 rooms with a corporate, convention or resort calling with locations in city centers, suburban areas, airport sectors as well as leisure and recreational destinations.
As of 2014, he opted to shift and adapt his know-how and skill sets toward his own consulting firm. He has since collaborated with over 100 properties in assisting and coaching Revenue Managers, Owners and General Managers.
Marc who graduated from the “Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec” is passionate about his industry and on numerous occasions has conducted and deployed training seminars and conventions for students within the hospitality sector.
He is very much engaged within the Rate Yield project and looks forward to the vast expansion within North America.
Marc lives with his wife and two kids in Montreal and loves to travel with his family during his free time.
Rikki Cavanagh
Director of Business Development
Rikki, who graduated from the University of Guelph in tourism, began her career at the Lord Elgin Ottawa in 2014. She pursued her career with the Expedia market management team in Montreal where she evolved with much success for 6 years as a market manager. Throughout her time at Expedia, she developed and cultivated relationships with properties throughout the province of Quebec as a senior ambassador and worked hand in hand with all size of urban hotels, resorts, and small inns to help them achieve their full potential in terms of revenue and market share.
In 2021, after obtaining her MBA, she left the hotel industry to lead Business Development at the American "Start-up", Zesty.ai.
Rikki joins the Rate Yield team with an extensive hotel experience coupled with an array of business development skills to further the Rate Yield expansion project across North America.
Adeline Le Cornec
Customer Success Manager
Adeline graduated from Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest, France and started her hospitality career in Montreal back in 2010 at the Auberge Bonaparte. She then proceeded to evolve through different properties, among which the Embassy Suites, Hotel 2170 (formerly known as Residence Inn by Mariott Montreal Westmount) as a front Office Manager and finally being a key player in the opening of the Hotel Birks Montreal where she will be in charge of revenues. She was appointed as E Commerce and Revenue Manager for the group Les Hotels St Martin Inc.
Adeline joins the ranks of Rate Yield with a solid hotel experience and analytical skills in revenue that will benefit the ongoing development of Rate Yield throughout North America.
